I’ve been seriously *aware* for the last five months or so.
when I got a free cloth pad with an order of cloth diapers from Itsy Bitsy Bums
back in college when some friends showed me their keeper cup and glad rags.
This year
When I was 18 in high school
I discovered them while working at a retail pharmacy about 3 years ago. I was looking at the shelves and noticed a Diva Cup. So I tried it and haven’t looked back since!
Just recently & I can’t wait to try them out (pregnant w #3 right now & looking to make the switch after)!
About a year ago
I first discovered them some time after I started using cloth diapers, maybe earlier this year?
by that I mean: QUITE some time, like a long time, I never even thought about cloth for myself all the time I used it on my son. Until recently that is. I love it now.
I have used cloth for 8 years, since pregnant w/#2. I cloth diapered, and was SO GLAD I switched! Time to re-fresh my mama cloth, since mine are getting a bit raggedy! lol
I learned of them many years ago, since I cloth diapered my kids, i knew there was cloth feminine products, I used them when I had my period!
My first eco-friendly feminine hygiene produce was probably 7th Generation’s stuff during my later years of high school. It would be a few more years until I was educated and then brave enough to try a menstrual cup.
I learned about reusable menstrual products when I started cloth diapering my little one. I have not used them yet, but I really want to try them.
This year
When I started using the Lunette cup!
I initially had seen an ad in Vegetarian Times magazine for reusable cloth pads back in the 1990′s but I didn’t have the money back then to try them.
I started back in March but just swith recently to using reusable products full time. Still putting together a stash of stuff for myself;-)
