May brings so many wonderful things! May Day, Menstrual Monday, Mother’s Day and… our Menstruation: New Products & Perspectives Tweet Chat!
So if you haven’t already, mark your calendars for May 11th! Be Prepared Period and You ARE Loved will be coming together to host our monthly #PeriodTalk tweet chat event! This month we will feature special guests Julie Sygiel of Sexy Period and Tara Bruley, founder of Be Prepared Period as they discuss both new period products and the perspectives that come with trying these alternatives.
To help promote the event and encourage participation The Keeper has generously donated a menstrual cup (winner may choose between the Keeper or Moon Cup & size) for us to give away to one very lucky participant.
Simple to use, both The Moon Cup and The Keeper are innovative feminine hygiene products that are worn internally, freeing women from dependency on cumbersome, uncomfortable, expensive, paper-based products. Economical, efficient, comfortable, and environment-friendly, reusable menstrual cups are attractive alternatives to other feminine hygiene products. Made by a woman for women, The Keeper is made from natural gum rubber — i.e., latex and The Moon Cup made from medical grade silicone — i.e., non-latex.
“I discovered The Keeper several years ago while planning a trip to Peru. I had never heard of a menstrual cup, but several friends had spoken highly of both The Keeper and The Moon Cup, so I decided to try it. One month later, after hiking, biking and trekking across South America, I was sold! I initially thought that I would only use The Keeper while backpacking, but upon returning home, decided to make it a permanent part of my life. The Keeper is so easy to use, and so superior to disposable menstrual products, that I happily switched to it permanently. Thank you for making a product that not only makes dealing with my period easier, but also helps me to be a better steward of the planet.” -Anna

I’d like to try the Keeper and/or the Mooncup because I am interested in other reusable, body/environment friendly options besides the DivaCup. 🙂
I’d love to try either-I’m really tired of using tampons and would absolutely adore the opportunity to try something new.
EITHER OR THEY BOTH ARE AWESOME AND WORK THE SAME WAY
I’ve tried the Lunette cup, but I was originally interested in the Keeper because it was rubber. The lunette cup I got just happened to cost much less at the time!
i want to try the mooncup because i am sick of using disposable menstrual products
I’ve never tried alternatives to pads and tampons, and I’m curious, just not curious to drop $40 on something I might hate LOL I’d rather drop $40 on mama cloth instead!
I would love to win this to give away! I just bought one the other day
Idc whick one I win, I jsut want one!
i’ve only tried a diva cup and would like to see how another brand fits.
I want to try the mooncup and the keeper to see which cup I like better… definitely changing from disposables. Thanks for a great giveaway.
I’m more interested in winning so I can pass it off to my friend and open her to the possibility of going without disposable menstrual products.
Because I don’t have a menstrual cup and want to win a free one!
after the moldy tampon story i cant imagine using one again!
I am interested in trying this because i think it is better for my health and my environment
i have a good friend that has been wanting to try a cup! I have a @LunetteCup, si I want to win for her!
The mooncup.
I am interested in learning as much about every menstrual cup as possible, so when I encounter a woman who says, “Oh, yeah, I tried one of those. It didn’t work for me,” I can direct them to a brand that will better suit them. What better way to learn about the Moon or Keeper cup than to try one yourself?
Intereseted in the mooncup because I don’t use pads and have come to greatly dislike tampons, but currently don’t have a better solution.
I want to try the Mooncup because I know it will be greener, healthier, and save me sooo much money!
I already use mama cloth and disposable menstrual cups, I’d like to move on to a reusable menstrual cup!
I want to try cause i think green and i care about my health and the future of the planet
moon cup
I guess cloth diapering was my gateway into green living. I started cloth on my first born four years ago and am using cloth again on my 7 month old. It was during my second pregnancy that I learned of alternative menstrual products… why oh why did I not hear of these things before? So much waste I have contributed to landfills and so many uncomfortable periods with paper pads or drying tampons! I would love to try a menstrual cup for environmental, health and comfort and being a one car, one salary, two kiddo home it would be really great to be able to win one! Thanks for this great giveaway!!
I’ve heard more about TSS this past year then I have in my whole life and I’d love to find an alternative to tampons. I currently have cloth pads but prefer tampon-like products.
I’ve tried Meluna and it leaks a lot. Fleurcup is better, but as each cup has its own design, I believe it’s a matter of finding which one fits better for me.
I want to try it because the idea of pads disgusts me and I’m fed up with tampons.

I’m interested in the cup because I’ve tried another one in the past but it wasn’t comfortable. I like the idea of it though, being more eco-friendly and better for my health too.
I’d be interesting in trying this cup to pass it on to my sister. 🙂
I am interested in giving this to my wife
I’d like to try either, as I don’t have a sensitivity to latex. :]
I would like to try the mooncup as an alternative to tampons and pads. My babies aren’t in disposables, why should I be?
I am interested because I can’t use tampons much after the birth of my first born. I haven’t tried since my second. I am looking for a better alternative. Cheaper in the long run, and effective. Would love to try this!
I am interested in the Menstrual cup because I am looking for a better option for my period.
I’m sick of using pads all the time and even though I use heavy pads I tend to leak everywhere and they are expensive!, Mooncup or keeper seems like a great alternative and cheap as well
I would love to try this, to help feel more confidant of less leaking.
I’m interested because I feel like I wouldn’t have to run to the restroom constantly on heavy days to make sure I haven’t had an “accident.”
I am interested in all the different alternatives. I have tried the diva cup. I want to see what the difference is with this cup.
I’d like to try another brand than my current cup.
I would like to find an alternative to mama cloth while camping!
I’m interested for my health & the environment!
I would feel safer with no risk of tss.
I think I would like to try The Keeper!
I would like to try one of these products so I could reduce waste!
I use a moon cup, and I love it. so much I convinced my boss to carry them in her cloth diaper store!
Would love to try one of these types of products.
I want to win one because I have issues with conventional products.
I have been using disposable cups for health reasons but I would like to look into using reusable to cut back on waste. However… I just don’t have the money right now! I would love the chance to try out the Moon Cup at no risk.
Definitely the Mooncup. 🙂
I’ve already switched to reusable menstrual products, but I am hoping to open the door for my sister to make the switch!
