For those of us who have such heavy periods that a super pad cannot contain everything at night, what other options are there?

I use a cup, backed up with an overnight pad. I also place a large bath towel under me on the bed sheets. When I travelled overseas, I used the cup, a disposable pair of incontinence briefs, with an overnight menstrual pad inside that.

I love my menstrual cup!!

For years I used pads and had a lot of trouble with leaking at night.  But I switched to the Keeper cup about 3 years ago and have had absolutely no more problems.  It does such a good job of containing my flow.  I love it during the day, but it's especially wonderful at night because I am no longer soaking bloodstains out of my sheets every month. :)

Though I love my Keeper I have also heard great things about the Divacup.

All the best!
