Hi Grace! when you insert a tampon, if it has a plastic applicator, you unwrap it first. Then, you grab the little part where the small tube and the large tube connect (grab the large tube part of it). I would grab it with your middle finger and your thumb, and you put your pointer finger on the end of the smaller tube where the string hangs out. (Just cover the string with your finger; don't push it into the tube). Now, you insert the tampon until your middle finger and thunb are almost/are touching the outside of your vagina. Then, you press on the small tube until you push it so that the small tube is inside the bigger tube. Then, you pull the applicator out. If it doesn't have an applicator, you kind of have to just push it up in there.
There sould be a little instruction booklet with pictures inside the box. Marked as spam
