What does she mean by too early?   My mom said that I was too small (and too young) for tampons but I told her I would never do anything that purposely hurt myself and told her what I knew.  She was impressed with what I knew and she trusted me enough to let me try. Now I use them all the time. If she says yes than you are going to have to figure out what type you need to buy when you go to the store. (Brand, absorbency, ext) I would recommend getting a multi pack to start with if you don't already know the correct absorbency. Good luck!
