Don't worry, at the begining your period can be really irregular. For me it was pretty crazy, my first and second period had a 5 month difference and I've gotten my period 2-3 in one month. But everybody is different. It will be like this for the first year or so, talk to your mom and see what she thinks. You can always talk to your doctor about it for more information.  If you have just started your period, like, within the past year or so, it's normal for your cycles to be a bit irregular.  But if you've already had it for a few years, you might want to see your doctor.
