Discharge is a normal bodily function. For a few days before your ovulate (mid-cycle) you should experience some egg white-like discharge.

The time to get medical attention is when your discharge changes in smell, colour and/or texture. If the discharge has a fishy or rancid smell, and/or is thick, opaque white and possibly chunky- go to your Dr for a swab! This could be a sign of a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis (BV).
