 Hi Jenny!

When you first start having periods, the flow can be uneven.

If your flow is constantly running out, that means your flow is quite heavy.

Use the calendar to see if you're spotting or having your period. Has it been a month since your last period? If not- it could be spotting.

Generally spotting is more brownish in color, is light and may only last a day or two. You can wipe once or twice and the blood will be gone.

A full period is when you're having 3-7 days of consistent flow- generally day 2-3 are the heaviest and then it will begin to taper off.

Check out the Know Your Flow article on bepreparedperiod.com to learn more about this!

Good luck!
